I can't offer you a matching lens.
May I ask you, is the lens for the 350z showing in your avatar?

I have a whole series of lenses, but I was hoping that someone on the same continent would reply first. Worst case, send me an email or PM.

Yes it is. After having my empeg sitting on my office desk for two years now, I decided to put it into my Z finally.

Nice car

The first thing I have done, was to take out that bloody factory HU,
and replaced it with a right HU. An empeg of corse.
A car build in 2006 with a tape deck and without any MP3 support.
Typcally Nissan.

If you need some hints or assistance let me know.

Have you checked out the rainbow lense filters and see if you could get the right color from that? Link up top for lenses

Rainbow lenses are no longer available. Maybe someone could break up a set if they weren't using those colors.

Could probably cut your own. Don't know anything about stagelights.com, just using it as an example where to get gel media:

Since they're selling Times Square Lighting (my family's company) gel, I like to think I can do quite a bit better on price for the empeg community.

Filener was getting their gel from me, but I don't know why they never reordered. Anyway, if you want gel, send me a PM.

Just an update. Peter sent me a PM. I am going to ship him a lens from my stockpile, but I am just trying to find out what is the best match of the previously offered lenses, including the original empeg lenses, darkstorm's and filener's. Anyone have matching advice, based on the car?

Were you able to make the steering wheel audio controls work with the empeg? I purchased a PAC Audio adaptor for Kenwood and Sony HU's, but I haven't hooked it up yet.

I have an 05' EU Roadster Pack. And this model has no steering wheel audio controls.
So I don't gain experience to control the Empeg remote.

What you will need is a converter to translate the signals from the Nissan steering wheel to the Sony stalk format.
And then of corse you need an tuner.

Myself I use also an PAC Audio Converter to connect the empeg to the factory Bose amplifers.
An important thing is to know that the empeg has low-level outputs and the factory amplifer has hi-level inputs.
Before I have bought an small amplifer to convert the signals I testet the sound quality witout any amplification.
The sound quality was not bad. It satisfy my requirements. One limitation is the the minor maximum loudness.

Here is link to service manual for the EU-model. There you can find a audio schematic.
And here is a picture of my dashboard.

I hope I was a little help for you.

Moving well into Off Topic territory:
The Bose amp in my car (2002 Benz wagon) was able to accept the empeg line level outputs with no problem. I've read it can accept either line level or speaker level, but wasn't brave enough to test. You might try wiring it directly with some spliced RCAs just to test.
