I'm about to purchase a race car and need every extra buck I can muster at the moment. I wanted to give real fans a chance to buy one of the very first Empegs here before thowing it on Ebay. Make me an offer!

As the new Mk2 lowest model (12 GB?) is sold for $999 now you won't get that much for your Mk1 i guess.

How much would you want to have for it?
A friend of mine would be generally interested in having an empeg player but doesn't want to spend too much money on it.

I would like to ask $500.00 for it. I think I'm going to put it on Ebay and see how it fares but if your friend would take it for $500.00, I'd be willing to part with it right now. I'm about to purchase another car and need just a few more dollars to close the deal. =)

I'm afraid he has no interest. He doesn't want to pay that much for a used unit - he isn't even sure if he should really spend some money on an empeg for car...

I would like to offer $450 for it, I live in NZ, so over here I can't justify spending UK725 = NZ$3000!! Landed on a new MK2 one.
And since yours is MK1 and Used, I hope you consider the offer, as this is the only way I can see myself getting one :)

Dow! I was in NZ (home) about 4 weeks ago - could have brought mine over for you to have a look at! I have someone else looking at it at the moment, but if that falls through maybe I can get it back to you. Perhaps even freight free as I am hoping to get some visitors from home this (European) summer. I was hoping to get a little more than $450 US for it, but that is of course negotiable. An empeg is a really cool piece of equipment! I only bought a Mk 2 because I have a Mac and there is no Mac software (yet). The Mk 2 works good over ethernet with JEmpeg though.
