Just done a search on Google News and find an article about a company which claims to offer earthquake predictions. In their "demo" area they have a pretty neat entry predicting a quake in LA today:

Ok, so the epicenter was Big Bear (90 miles away), but considering they have the exact day it's "most impressive".

Interesting. They score their accuracy on latitude and longitude separately. Meaning they could get a good grade on one axis by predicting a quake in the opposite hemisphere.
