Rather bog the people here down with Linux questions, I was wondering if there was good Linux community forum comprable to this one. I here Gentoo is good, but I don't think I am going to be using that distribution.

www.linuxquestions.org is pretty good especially if you are new to things. it has seperate forums per distributions. the linux documentation projects looks pretty good too. http://www.tldp.org/index.html

I'd recommend using the Gentoo Forums, even if you're not going to go with Gentoo as your distribution (shame on you ). A vast majority of what is discussed applies to other Linux flavors.
