My Mac downloaded iTunes 6 seperate from Quicktime 7.0.3. However, my PC downloaded a 32.9mb installer for both programs.

Didn't mention it, but is was on a pc. Sorry that my rant was a bit ill defined. It's just that so often I'm finding it a problem that installers are being provided in a bundled forms. Heck the last logitch mouse I bought had about 5 different items that were offered for installation with the drivers, amoung them Musicmatch. I did find the 6.something installer later, but at the time just needed QT right away. Apple's installer was one of the better I've used lately. It allowed me to choose the file associations I would allow. _________________________ Glenn

It's very annoying when you're trying to install QT on dozens of computers, but don't want iTunes. Fortunately, it's a simple matter of first telling the installer not to make iTunes the default media player, and then after it's finished installing, you can just remove iTunes seperately. Apparently the new official AIM client is quite nice, but comes bundled with about 5 AOL programs that you aren't even made aware of at installation (this is in addition, I've heard, to large ads that pop up in the middle of conversations). _________________________ Matt
