i am at my wits end. i relocated my pc to the living room while i rip some decent bits off TIVO.

i borrowed the USB wireless adaptor from my imac in order to stay online. a week or so later the adaptor started freezing. the connection stays up until 30 seconds or so after i access something online (ftp, web browser, etc) and just hangs. the TIVO can still see the network just fine so i tried that USB adaptor and it freezes on the pc too.

i made sure to download the latest drivers for the adaptors and updated the wireless router's firmware. still no luck in win98 or win2k (dual-boot).

any thoughts? thanks . . .
