So I downloaded Boxee to see what all the buzz was about.

I decided to try to watch a movie with Vudu. Wouldn't connect.

So I got a 30 day free trial for Netflix. Wouldn't connect.

Finally figured out that they don't like you to connect from outside the US. Stinks for me. Was wondering if anyone could recommend a proxy that would tunnel all traffic that I could enable when trying to use one of these services.

I've looked around a bit, but there's a ton of them out there. Anyone have one they're happy with?

Thanks

Hotspot Shield works well enough in Mac OS (also available for Windows). *BUT* (BIG BUT) it also hijacks Google searches and redirects them to a different search provider. It only does this while it's active and I haven't seen it to anything else nefarious.

Some Windows users also mention it installs the ASK.com toolbar and potentially this search redirection stays active even when HotSpot is not connected - as it runs are a service which you have to turn off.

YMMV, but in my experience it's worked quite well - used it to sign up to Google Voice recently.
