The subject says it all really, I'm getting really bad Samba performance on a couple of XServes at work. All my mac/linux clients I've moved over to NFS and seen massive speed and performance increases. The windows clients however are stuck with SMB for the time being. The only one I've found so far is NFSAXE which is a tad clunky. Commercial software is fine as long as it's not £100's per workstation (of which there are approx. 25).
