Another question out of left field for the empegbbs answer machine! I bought a ultrasonic pest control (my wife saw a rat in the garage, once it hasn't returned) device that plugs into the wall. The instructions say not to use it in an area where there are flammable gases. Now is the garage a safe place to us this device? Can the ultrasonic waves really ignite a fire? I'll call the company tomorrow, but was wondering of anyone here knew anything about this sort of thing. Besides the two cars that are kept in the garage there are also a couple of empty liquid chlorine containers for the pool.
