I recently burned about 20 DVDs to get space back on my machine. Afterwards I was trying to get some of the files off to work on them, and I get the error:

"Cannot copy [filename]: Data error (cyclic redundancy check)."

It happens only on some of the discs, and always with the last file or the last couple files. I installed one of my old DVD drives to see if the drive was having problems, but it didn't work. What causes this, and is there anything I can do about it?
