Make sure that you are running sun java 1.4.2_01 and NOT 1.4.2_02 which appears to be a beta.

I was having no end of grief with _02, crashes, whacked out displays. Having reverted to 1.4.2_01, I have "rio bliss" again.

I'd love to hear that others who had problems, were fixed up by this, just for confirmation.

I'm using 1.4.2_01-b06 and I have all sorts of screwy things happening also. I wonder now if I'm using a beta version of 1.4.2_01 with the -b06. I can start the receiver up and it will see and load the client on the Rio but from there it all goes downhill. I can't get it to stream for more than 20 or 30 seconds and the web front end has its own problems. Some times I get it to control the receiver other times I click on the receiver tab and it does nothing. I have looked at the logs and see nothing obviously wrong. It appears that the messages are ok. I have sent them to Pauln and he says that lots of people are having problems running tRio on wireless connections. Are you running tRio on a Dell or rebadged Dell? Are you on a wired connection or wireless?

Thanks
Mike

My server & 2 rios are all connected via ethernet wire.
I have the receivers connected to a 10mb dlink hub which is the n connected to a Linksys wireless router.

I had two reos synched for sevearal hours yesterday with no issues. I did start screwing around with the queue on the master unit which ultimately caused an exception error on the server, but that was minor compared to the problems of using the beta '02' java.
