Hello All...

I was running version 3.00 alpha 10, HiJack 400. Tried to use jEmplode to send songs to the player, but it kept stopping halfway through and just sitting there. I decided to upgrade to the latest HiJack using jEmplode and it hung too, just like when sending songs to the player. This caused my firmweare to be corrupt so I reflashed with v3.00 alpha 11. Now the player boots but hangs and locks up after loading the database/playlists. No response from buttons. Screen animations halt. I did an fsck and did a manual delete/rebuild of database. Still same problem. I've got some errors shown with the serial_notify with what looks like one song. Log below...

Thanks,

Jeff

Bad Track?

I occasionally get "bad track"-like behavior with the Alphas on a perfectly good track. I can usually skip to the next track if I press the next button repeatedly while it finishes booting. After that, a reboot and I'm back up and running.

To be honest, you'd be better off on A11 anyway. Not sure what the issue is here: do you have any third party apps on requiring cache setting mods?

OK, I flashed back to release 2.00 and rebuilt the database. All went well. I then reflashed to v3.00a11 and it seems to be working now...

So is the world of alphas...

Thanks guys,

Jeff
