Finished my EMPEG install in my car, one thing I noticed which I was a little concerned about was after testing the EMPEG in the car, pulling it out I noticed on the unit itself on both sides
near the back end, a small round discolored mark like a burn mark, this is on both opposite sides.
Did a smell test nothing unusual, and the unit works fine, was working on my desk for a week fine. Wondering if anyone else has come across this?, I will post a picture up when I get home from work....

I know all the connections are fine triple checked & I tested them, my original head unit is working fine.

Any help appreciated.

Cheers,
Jaidev

Yea i have the same on mine. Nothing to worry about. I think its just the weld mark for the casing.

Don't worry, they're spot welds. If your wiring had caused this, you would definitely have known all about it at the time!
