Anything that relied on sending email has been fairly broken here for a while, especially if you used Gmail or one of the other big providers for your email.

(this was due to me not keeping up with all the anti spam measures the big providers expect you to have in place nowadays to be able to send their users email)

This meant new user sign ups often didn't work and people didn't get email notification of private messages and watched threads. We've had a lot more non-spam user signup recently, thanks to the YouTube video.

The BBS server now has SPF and DKIM setup, hopefully properly, so email delivery should work a lot better now. I still need to look at DMARC.

The email will always be sent out from [email protected], in case anyone wants to add it to allow lists.

So do let me know if you see any problems with the features that use email, because I'm expecting them to be working again now.
