1) To be able to use emplode to set the players clock to the computers clock.

2) Would it be possible to do a front/back delay? I know in my home stereo equipment, I can adjust the delay to the rear speakers...And in some new high-end Pioneer car equipment, you can do the same thing(Well, they go one step further, you can set the delay to each speaker)

#1 would be real nice and sounds easy to implment, and #2 is just something that I just though about, but wouldn't cry if I didn't get it.

Front/back delay cannot be done. We already discussed this about a week ago.

The player software feeds only left and right signals to the DSP. The front/back stuff happens in the DSP hardware.

Left/Right delay could be implemented in the player software or even in the kernel. You might want to beg Mark Lord to implement left/right delay in Hijack if that's important to you.
