Some of you may remember me ranting about problems with photo management on the iTouch/iPhone.

I had two problems with it:

1. Loading photos onto your iPhone with iTunes has severe limitations with regard to choosing which photos go onto the device and which ones don't.

2. iTunes did not correctly detect the EXIF rotation of my photos (and still doesn't in recent revisions AFAIK).

Both of those problems are now solved because I bought CopyTrans Photo.

From its inception, it took care of item 1 above beautifully, allowing me to freely copy individual photos back and forth between the PC and the iPhone.

Item 2 above was still an issue because it seemed to have the same EXIF rotation bug that iTunes had. But I emailed them with the bug description and my photo samples, and they have now fixed that bug in the latest version. I just tried it, and finally I have something that EXIF-rotates my photos correctly onto the iPhone.

Very happy with this CopyTrans Photo software and their support. Thought others might want to know about it.
