Usually factory speakers are paper cones -- tolerable for listening to talk radio, but horrible for everything else, esp. with a bit of volume behind them.

My car had speakers with PLASTIC-Chassis !!!!! Hard to believe, but true. So people out there watch out for your built-in speakers! Mostly they are low quality!
And speakers aren't really that expensive. between $40 and $80 - depending on the size and quality are worth changing them!
