After kerbing an alloy on my roadster I'm giving some serious thought to getting a banger to drive to work. I've only ever had one car and haven't a clue about the in's and out's of having two cars namely insurance. How does no-claims apply, etc. Tax and MOT should be straightforward.

I know this is probably simple to answer and I would normally ask my Dad or my bro, but it's quarter to 2 in the morning and I'm on lates all this week.

On a side note, anyone recommend a alloy refinisher in the north/northwest?
