you may want to review your payment method and check to see what, if any, limits there are on reporting a fraudulent transaction.

Reporting it and then having the item turned up 'delayed' is better than waiting too long and missing the window to notify.

This wouldn't be needed if you could establish contact with the seller but since he's not returning emails/calls for some (possibly harmless) reason then better safe than sorry.
