Is something wrong with emplode's "Play on Empeg" feature? You can select a song, and play it from the empeg. If you plug the output RCA's from the empeg to the Line-In on your sound card, you can play all you want through your PC speakers (remember when playing a song through the PC speaker was a horrible idea altogether? ).
Maybe I don't understand. You wanted to play the song VIA USB or Ethernet to the emplode PC?
