With the most recent SSD's which support "wear levelling", it shouldn't make any noticeable difference with regards to the lifespan of the SSD, so yes, it should be ok.

On my own system, even though I use a recent SSD, I've put the swap on the data drive (a second disk, which is an ordinary winchester). Just to be sure. smile
