I am no hummingbird expert, in fact I know virtually nothing about them except that they seem to like my feeders. However, since there are 58 known species of hummingbirds in Mexico, those are probably different species.

Note that the colorful ones generally appear black until they are strongly illuminated (the pictures were shot with strobe) at which point they iridesce.
