Hold the bottom button on the front panel. That'll make transient pop up. You have to do it twice, though.

My preference would be to have the bottom button on the front panel toggle between "Transient" and "Track" instead of its current toggle between "Transient" and "Off". Then I could look up track details in the middle of a song very easily while leaving it on transient.
