I re-downloaded the software before installing. Maybe my previous attempts were due to a bad download, I do not know.

Now, I would have said this right from the very start except for one thing.

The installer package comes in ZIP form. In order to run the setup, you would have had to unzip it. And if there was something wrong with the download, it wouldn't have unzipped without giving you error messages. And surely you would have told us if that were the case.
