In case anyone is keeping score, I got another one today when I tried to add songs to two playlists, delete one song, and delete 4 empty playlists. (I know, I just said I'd only do one thing at a time, but what a pain that is).
Sync failed at stage five and it rebooted the player.

Whoo-hooo.
