Macromedia Flash Player 6 doesn't work on my computer. For example, I'll go to HomestarRunner.com and it will load the initial screen, but then clicking on anything after that will cause the window to close. When i right click on the initial screen, i can get into that little Macromedia window, and get into the settings, so it looks ok. I have win xp.

Delete and reinstall it then. Assuming you are using Internet Explorer, go to Tools, Internet Options, then Settings under the Temporary Internet Files. Click View Objects, delete Shockwave, and close the browser. Reopen it, and revisit a Shockwave site. It should prompt to download it again.

Sounds like it's time to sacrifice a chicken to the computer gods.
