Just wondering what are the differences between the MKII and the MKIIa models.

I thought it was only the ram capacity (12 to 16 for the a)
But searched around a bit and could'nt clarify this.

Any input appreciated.

And, Tony, it might be pertinent to point out in that FAQ that the MkII came with a Kenwood remote, whereas the MkIIa came with a Rio remote.

I searched for ``mkiia difference'' and it came back as the sixth entry.

This may be a good time to point out to the BBSers that Drakino accepted a suggestion of mine about ``fixing'' the exact phrase search for the FAQ. It now will do a normal fulltext search. The one major limitation is that it throws away words less than four letters long. I may come up with a solution for that next week.
