Multiple marking in v2.0, new release

Will the final release of the 2.0 software have any upgraded Marking features?
It would be nice to have the ability of marking bad tracks or other layers of marked tracks. Maybe this can work by having a number in the database field. marking the first time would generate a 1, second time 2, etc. Then you can determine whether you marked the track as bad or good depending on your predetermined number.

This feature is not in the upcoming release. Future releases of 2.0 don't have any new features to speak of, just bug fixes. Heck not even all the bug fixes, just the really important ones.

I've said before that I'm a sucker for new releases. They could release 2.0B14 with the only change being "changed the name to B14" and I'd be excited to have it.

Yeah, I understand. I'm an addict too, I'm just not affected by any of the known bugs, so I'm not too enthusiastic about a bugfix release.
Incidentally, I deleted the post you replied to because I realized I was being overly negative. I do appreciate the bugfix release, it just isn't a big deal to me. 2.0b13 is, to me, a perfectly functional release, and I'm somewhat of a power user. I can't wait for the bleeding-edge post-2.0 releases to come.

That explains the odd error I got after replying to it!
I agree with you, B13 is rock solid for me too. Maybe we can look at it this way: now that the 2.0 release will be final, they can move onto new bugs that we can help find and whine about.
