Any of you other rally inclined folks going to any of the California Rally Series events? I just sent in my registration for the Rally School on Sept. 27th, and i can't wait! Never participated in any kind of track event or rally so i'm really excited to get my new wagon dirty. $70 for a driving school is freakin' cheap so i couldn't pass it up.

Anyone else interested?

Whoa. Seriously cheap. Basically just paying for a place to go screw around for the day.

I was saving up some money to go to one of the Rally Schools back East. Most of those are $3k+.

I don't think my car could take that, but maybe. Another year, or less maybe, and I'll have an STi.

Still tempting.

Edit:
Hell, I'd go just to be a co-driver. Want one? If you don't already have someone going with you, that is.

Looks like fun. I don't think my jeep is quite what they have in mind though.

Donato: why wouldn't your car take it!? I bet it'll do better than my new wagon. It's just a flat dirt field, nothing too crazy. Hell yeah, the co-driver thing would be fun... but it looks like you don't get to actually do a co-driver thing with a student... you go along with an instructer in the afternoon. =[ You should come man!

Mike: Hahah... i think it would be awesome to show up in that thing! There's no restrictions on cars... unless it's a convertible.

Because it's just a Jetta. Sounds like fun. Maybe I'll go anyway, just for the hell of it.

Yeah. Sorry I didn't make that clear. It's all good though.

I'm still trying to decide if I'm going or not... I think I will.
