So what's so great about it?

Nothing much. If you like B&O gear, are really into polished stainless steel and can afford it then go for it.
It's actually just a SD MP3/WMA player without an LCD in a fancy casing. You're pretty much buying the name and the look for $695. I'd just buy the Karma and have about 19.8GB more storage for way less

Exactly my thoughts. It just blew my mind that they could charge so much for so little. Who buys these things anyways? Of course they probably only have to sell 3 of them to make up the cost of production.

Like everything they make, cheap crap.

They have too much low-end gear at higher than high-end prices. When someone starts talking about B&O in music circles, I immediately roll my eyes. Lame-Fi.
