Hi.

First, Merry Chrismas. Or perhaps more accurately, Merry Christmas Eve

OK. I have recently acquired a GPS receiver with a difference. The difference is that it is purely a receiver, there is no processing at all. IE, it will receive the spread-spectrum signals from a number of satellites, and output the digital data containing the raw GPS stream, which then has to be further processed with the appropriate P-code to extract the individual satellite data, when then need to be still further processed to produce location data.

My question is, does anyone know where (or if) I could find any open-source software to process raw GPS data? I've found a couple of proprietary and very expensive packages to do it, but I want it cheap. Free, in fact

In case you're wondering, the device in question formed part of a balloon radiosonde for measuring windspeed, pressure, temperature, and humidity. The sensors for the last three parameters are easy enough to read, but it would be nice to use the GPS unit as well.
