Not overly fancy, but for $10 after a rebate, might be useful for something.

If you get the rebate, that's a hot deal. Is that an ISA slot is see?

Probably a good choice for HTPC.

Cool. I bought one for a friend, who's going to build an ATCS receiver to drop in someone's house.

Sadly, not all the lines in this area which are ATCS-equipped are in areas where we know friendly railfans with broadband.

Can anyone recommend a good microATX case, or a store with a good selection of cases? This board looks great, especially considering the budget I'm currently on.

Seriously, even with postage it's better than anything I've seen this side of the pond. Anyone willing to help me out? This could be perfect for my mythbox.

www.newegg.com for cases. This place is just incredible for selection, customer service, fast, cheap (even free) shipping, etc. I've used them for years, as have many others.

Also, for deals like this, check out forums.anandtech.com, specifically under hot deals. This deal, and many more are constantly called out there.

Of course I know about Newegg! I just wasn't sure if they were the best place for cases. I've had trouble finding regular cases there before. They don't carry the one I have.

Just wanted to post some pics of the case I built out of plexiglass. It was quite the experience, and for my first time I think it turned out pretty good. I still don't know what I will do with it. I got the one linked in this thread, and the one that was $5 (courtesy of a friend). Got the power supply from www.performance-pcs.com. It's a 1U 300W ATX power supply. Then Pioneer slot load DVD-Rom, 40 GB hard drive, a 92 MM UV fan, and some UV lights.

If by "hot" you mean "emitting a lot of RF interference", then yeah.

All it seems to be missing is the fuzzy dice and the Type R sticker.
