Hi All-
I've got an original tuner that I'll be fitting up with my empeg when I do the car install.
So far, however, I haven't found much in the way of documentation wrt the option.
As well as the antenna connection and 8-pole signal connector, there is another (female) jack... what's that for?
Also, there is an adjustment knob labeled with positions 0-9 and part of the alphabet. Whazzat do? Where/how should it be set?

I couldn't find any discussion on the BBS or in the FAQ about this stuff, but if there is something I've missed please link it.

The dial setting is irrelevant. It was initially intended to have different modules set at different settings so that the empeg could detect what car it was in, but that never went anywhere. Seems like Mark did something with it in Hijack, though. If you have only one tuner, it's definitely irrelevant.

I don't remember an additional jack, though.

The jack is for a Sony stalk or an adaptor for a cars steering wheel audio controls
