We all bought iPhones, iPads and Android devices. Most of us are still using this strangely long lived in car mp3 player that you might have come across.

Oh and we've missed you Rob.

Ah, a lot of stuff you don't really wanna know about: it's all forgotten, any way smile

The sun is shining (sometimes) and it's a new day.

Good (and bad) things are happening in the world. Focus on the good: emma the empeg and erik the empeg, too are both in good health. Eleven years ago (to the day), emma entered my life, and changed it forever.

What's your story?

BOO! Thought I'd get in on the action too... Hope everyone is well!

Am just ebaying a bunch of old tech (SLIMP3 player anyone) and was thinking of you all. I still can't bring myself to sell the empeg though it's been sitting there for years with all the proper accessories... such a shame!

Kids are expensive as some of you know so it might happen soon. Ugh.

not so much... I still get around and do lots of fun stuff but the arthritis in my right foot is pretty bad. I'll be having it looked at in the new year once my insurance ded. resets. Hopefully the fix won't be too bad. But, overall, happy as a clam and still active! Thanks for askin.

I'm still here --- and I was just thinking today how long my Empeg has serviced me well.

Other thank upgrading the HD to a solidstate device of some sort (most likely CF over SSD), I'm pleased with the longevity of the unit I purchased in 2001.

Memories of installing it in my Jeep in February in Illinois with the car running just long enough to warm up a little to keep my fingers nimble while I wired and spliced and wired.

Ahhhhh those were the days.

If there was a color-updated Empeg, I would buy one. Think of what it could do today. Darn neato.

Unfortunately, cars have now been designed for integrated audio that isn't 3rd party accessory friendly. What a shame.

Happy New Year All!

I'm still here from time to time. The empeg changed my life a bit too. I use it on a daily basis in my car. The iPhone is for phone calls and games, right?

The most significant change in my life happened in 2010. I got married in july and became the father of a wonderful girl october 1st laugh

Hope to see you all in june!
