I tried to do an emplode sync, and the sync timed out during a disk integrity check. Never had that happen before. It gave an error but i closed the window before i realized it. Sorry fellas... guess that's not much help.

Synchronise failed while retrieving playlists.
Conneciton timed out (error 0x8004003e)

Greetings!

I get the same thing. How large are your disks? I suspect it is space related.

Greetings!

I started a thread on large drives, and sent some data to Roger.

Maybe not, it has happened to me as well, same code with the exception of the error says 'failed sync while writing player config.'. I was just about to post it, I have only a single 12gig drive in my Mk2.
Happened about five times so far doing various things e.g.- uploading wav files, changing source names for wav files, & other things. If you try to close Emplode you get a popup saying a sync is required if you select yes it gives a 'wrong cookie session' error & you end up having to select no & exiting. When you restart Emplode the file it puked on is there & changed & appears fine.

I get the same error as JWickis with this "writing player config". Over here selecting the "debug log" option makes the error go away, strange.

Any of yo running emplode on dual CPU machines ?

I was single processor at home, running over USB and I received the error.

At the office, I am dual processor, running over ethernet and I receive no error.

Go figure...

It's a known bug. It occurs approximately 3% of the time on my Mk1 (number 5). We're not sure if it's space-related, but it does seem to be related to the player restart time.

Peter and Richard are looking at it.
