I just recieved a blue empeg logo soft carry case for my Empeg, and I have to say that I am very pleased with it.

For some reason unknown, I imagined the case would be bigger (imagining padding I guess) but the small size works out perfectly. It's so tiny I can throw it in my napsack or carry it along wherever.

The pouch on the front has just enough room to hold 1) a Remote 2) the small AC adaptor (the brick sized one is permantly set up next to the computer at home), and 3) 2 small RCA cables plus an 1/4" -> 1/8" adaptor so I can plug it into RCA, 1/4" phono, or 1/8" mini plug inputs. So I can take it with me anywhere and use it as a portable stereo. :-)

In fact, for lugging around, it compares pretty favorably size and weight wise to my Nomad Jukebox (almost never used & for sale cheap), which it so totally blows away in every other aspect.

You'd be surprised what I can fit into that pouch on the side of empeg case.

Usually, I have:
- Two checkbooks.
- A pen.
- A small prescription medicine bottle with advil in it.
- A selvyt cloth to clean my sunglasses with

Sometimes it also holds (in addition to the above):
- My sunglasses.
- My digital camera (one reason I wanted the S110 so badly).

And it's not really "crammed" or anything, everything is rather comfortable and the case isn't being stretched or distorted at all.

Okay, so it's a man-purse. Sue me.

Hey, I never considered putting my camera in there -- usually it just holds the remote, although I have put my mobile phone in there sometimes. I've got an Ixus V, so it ought to fit quite nicely. Then I can keep all of my toys in one place .

Where can I get this soft case? I didn't see it at the rio accessories store or in the FAQ anywhere. Does it work for riocar players?

They're all gone. No more. None expected to be made. See if you can find a good camera case as a substitute.

By the way, I have updated one of the FAQ entries which incorrectly suggested that the carry case was still available from the international store.
