It is a polymer clay called "Primo" or "Sculpy" (he uses both). Check the link above at PlanetUnreal for photos of his other creation the "Izarian". These are based off of designs from Unreal 2 and the creators have been emailing him about them! I'm just really excited for this guy!

Yep, they are pretty cool. A friend of mine started poking at the Unreal engine long ago for a game (Perilith, the knight model for Q2 is all that has ever been released), and is now doing some work for them on a web page for developers using the engine. The best way into the gaming industry is to impress the existing programmers.
