Hola,

I was all ready to vix my VBR headers, so I did the Tag Studio fix, then I ran the VBFix program. The time is still hosed!! When I looked at the log file from VBFix, it says that there is already a Xing header, and it's ignoring the file.

Is there anything else I can try?

thanks
-Ted

mp3tool (Linux, Empeg, or compile your own for win32), from the top of the page on the Hijack site.

OK.. after getting my roommate to compile the program (and fixing a bug , I'm still getting messed up times! MP3Tool reports that it fixed the problem, and it displays the correct time. However, when I drag onto Jemplode, I still get the bogus time!.

Heinously yours,

Are you deleting the original track before adding the new track onto the player?

If you add another track to the player without first deleting the old one, then the old track will remain, and you'll have two duplicate tracks. You might not even be playing the new track at all.

yep, i was deleting the tracks first (and clcking on the remove completely dialog box). turns out the problem is with jemplode. when i loaded the files into the regular emplode, the times got fixed. so, im not sure if tag studio did the trick alone, or if it was a combo between tag studio and mp3tool. either way, im uploading my music now (calculate about 10 hours for the whole thing), and my times will finally be correct!!!
