Any reports of screens dieing in EMPEGs? One day my empeg just stopped showing stuff on the screen. Music plays... but nothing comes up on the screen (in the car or on AC). Thanks all.

Has the player been dropped? It usually takes a drop onto concrete to break the display.

If you remove the front facia and screen, you'll be able to see the VFD panel. On the right-hand side, just under the rotary control, there should be a 'fill nipple' as in the picture attached.
