It's far inferior from just about all aspects (sound quality, UI, featureset, etc.) the only good thing about it is that it mounts into an IDE slot on your home computer, and it's very easy to synchronize files. you can even use the "my briefcase" feature in windows to keep your player and computer synced. -ted
