Hi!
Is it possible to have different EQ settings for each source?
If I switch to radio, for example, the sound has to much bass.

cheers,
thorsten

I wanted to have this option too. Mentioned it a while back in a different thread. It didn't get much discussion beyond just my initial comments, but I wonder if it could be controlled via Hijack or if would have to be in the player software? Anyway, maybe we should add it to the wish list?

Yeah, that is something that I really wish could be done as well. If they could figure out why my tuner reception sucks so bad, that would be great too!

I've browsed through the FAQ and found the following:
http://www.riocar.org/modules.php?op=modload&name=FAQ&file=index&myfaq=yes&id_cat=11&faqent=182#182

Note the following two options:
-volume_boost_FM=nnn
-disable_bassboost_FM=1

That's exactly what I was searching for!!! Praise the FAQ!

Why excactly does your reception suck? I mean, do you have a bad reception in general, or does it only sound crappy while listening to stations broadcasting extra information, e.g. RDS? Which software version do you use? Is the tuner from patrick?

I had the problem that my reception was always bad while listening to RDS stations. It sounded choppy. I downgraded from 2.0 final to 2.0 Beta 13 and the problems went away!

It pretty much sucks in general... Unless I am REALLY close to a station, the reception will typically come and go quite frequently. Its quite possible that this is just because of my particular antenna, but I honestly think I had better reception in my old car WITHOUT an antenna. Yes, this is one of patricks ones. I might try downgrading too, just for kicks.
