It's time to upgrade the empeg.

Right now, I'm thinking about purchasing This Drive ($225, 80gb, Toshiba, 4200rpm, 2.5" form factor, 9.5mm high, ATA-133)

As far as I can tell, this drive meets all the requirements for the empeg, and that price don't seem too shabby either.

But before I spend a couple hundred bucks on a new drive, I thought I'd post it here, and see if anyone has any comments.


So, what do you guys think?

I bought 2 of these drives for use in a mk2a, they are very quiet and so far have had no problems.

Now that's what I like to hear.

methinks I will be ordering one today...
