Fixed /. link.

Why is it that so many Linux devices only give you windows software to connect to it? Looks cool, otherwise.

Now, this looks as a REAL replacement the empeg, an evolution of its idea. The only one I've seen so far. Plays MP3s, has a hard disk. Of course we don't know yet the quality of the software on it, so it may very well have nothing comparable to the empeg in terms of mp3 player (playlists, random functions, etc), but maybe it does, or it will do. AND it is a nav system. AND it plays dvds. Now, more info is needed, but the idea is there, finally.

I just wish it wasn't Sony. They are trending toward DRM 'brand-only' solutions like Apple does with the ipod. I bet that by the time this box leaves Asia it will be DRM'ed.

I want to fairly use my owned music on my empeg, my laptop and my Audiorequest like my (US) copyright laws allow.
