silvercas member Registered: 23/10/2000 Posts: 162	ok so my empeg was awesome.. all of the sudden some DMB is goiing sour.. Like static and plays like its on roids... How can I force a fsck on the drive?

tfabris carpal tunnel Registered: 20/12/1999 Posts: 31565 Loc: Seattle, WA	What version of the software are you running? Perhaps it's one of the known bugs. If it's 2.0 Beta 3, then that's the problem. Upgrade to 2.0 Beta 11 and the problem will go away, no FSCK needed. Can you give more details about the problems? tfabris carpal tunnel Registered: 20/12/1999 Posts: 31565 Loc: Seattle, WA	Examine the songs in MP3Trim and see if there's anything wrong with the original files. Also try playing them in WinAmp. It might not have anything to do with the player's hard disk. _________________________ Tony Fabris
