Trying to hook up the web interface on my computer and having some troubles. Directions are fairly clear but dont want to screw my empeg up.

Downloaded cute ftp (5.0 XP 32bit) and logged in to my empeg OK (I think). I executed the RW and RO commands but cannot seem to move around in the empeg's directory in order to transfer the files to the right directory on the empeg
there is just a "/" in the right hand pane and it does not list the drive 0 and other directories. Am I doing some thing wrong in logging in?
Alternately can I use the command line FTP program to make the empeg RW and then transfer using the IE interface, going back to the command line to make it RO at the end?

I have attached the screenshot of the cute ftp as logged into empeg

There's something wrong, you should be able to see all of the empeg's file system in the right-hand pane. There should be a bunch of folders there.

yeah gave up on that and did the RW thru command line, added files via IE and then set to RO with the command line. Had to upgrade to IE 6 to not get the EEEEEE mode but I still cannot get the Now playing interface to work. I addede the notify=1 in the config file via emplode edit tool and it still comes up with the message to add the notify=1.

Is there any special place I should add this? I just put it at the end of the config file....

It must be under a heading called [output] but it can be anywhere in the file as long as it's under that heading.

Ok so now I got it to work...sort of. I dont have the ability to insert append or enque files. What ever mode I use to add files on the interface the empeg will play only that single file???
I cannot stream audio to any player (WMP 9, Winamp) I get the attached screen is I try... Otherwise it is a very nice program...

I had this problem untill I upgraded to IE 6.x even when I had IE 5.5 w/XML core services.Once I upgraded, everything was as it should be.
