My 78 Oldsomobile was quieter 2 weeks before it died. The Vantec Stealths are amazing. All I get from them is the air noise. I can clearly hear the one remaining Sunon and the power supply fan now. I am replacing the last Sunon... and I may consider cracking open the power supply, too (never done that before).

As for my experience with complete manufactured systems - this is my third and I've been inside them all. This, though, is the worst "proprietary" setup I've seen. Not that it doesn't work - functioned fine for a year. But it's damn annoying.
