Apologies for bumping this thread back up with a silly question -

To create my own upgrade file containing the apps I currently have installed (basically to make a reinstall much easier if I mess anything up) am I correct in thinking that as long as my apps are all on hda5 I just need to replace the pumphda5 compressed image in the official empeg released upgrade file with a gzipped copy of my hda5?

And if that is the case, does that also take into account the hijack kernel? Or is it just in flash?
