A search in the FAQ for "hard disk icon" yields nothing.

Remember that the FAQ search is exact-phrase only. So the more words you put in the box, the less of a chance you'll find something.

A search on the single word "icon" will yield multiple responses, but at least it's fewer than ten responses and you can glean from the titles what the entry is about.
