It is not that easy to distinguish a 9-3 from a 9-3 Viggen unless you look for these clues:
  • Viggen emblems on either side of the car above the side marker lights.
  • Front spoiler/ground effects
  • Larger rear spoiler than regular 9-3
  • 5 spoke 17" wheels
  • Regular 9-3s have a motorized antenna in the back on the driver's side. The Viggen spoiler gets in the way of that area, so Viggens have one of those small ones mounted on the roof (VW style?).
  • "Rectangular" exhaust tip
I have a Viggen "euro plate" on the front of my car, so everyone knows (assuming they know what a Viggen is). Other than those things, it is easily mistaken for a regular 9-3.
