Has anyone tried doing anything meaningful with VCD or SVCD discs.
I have just tried to convert the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy from PAL Tape and am very disappointed with the quality.
VCD was almost unwatchable with SVCD much better but still not great, I suppose the extreme compression is to much to be actually watchable.
Darn, that means spending another $500 on a DVD writer.
